I recently finished an 11stories Wedding Book for Dafne and Rowan, a fabulous couple with a passion for travel and adventure. They wanted to do a Love Story to display at their wedding, to share with friends and family. I spent two wonderful hours with them, tucked into a ridiculously comfy couch, listening to their story unfold. Theirs is one of those rare stories of love at first sight, though it took them quite a few weeks to muster the courage to even talk with each other.
I especially enjoyed listening to Rowan reveal his side of the engagement story, much of which was new even to Dafne… his secret meetings with her parents to ask for their blessing, his careful planning to surprise Dafne (which, as it turns out, is quite a challenge!) and his calm assuredness that she was always the one he wanted to marry.
They have now been together for over five years, and they are starting their marriage with a strong sense of what is important to themselves and each other. I wish them all the best as their story continues.
